PC parts shows market share

I bought PC parts to assemble Desk-top PC with my son. Those parts are made in Taiwan,Korea and Malaysia. I cannot find made in Japan parts. This means how the makers share is changing these days.

Digital tools

Yesterday I went to Osaka. And I could make documents in train,using digital tool"POMERA". This is not a PC rather like small word-processor. This can get me more convenient in order to make digital document.

How to prepare for the next disaster

Two months has passed after the 3.11 earthquake. What we should do is to revive and start to think about how to prepare for the next disaster.Next quake,volcanic eruption or other national disaster may happen in the future. If we can prepare for that, then we can live with safe and relaxed.

Microsoft Way

According to today's NIKKEI interview of Mr. Steve Ballmer(CEO of  Microsoft), next type smart-phone image is that people say "I would like to reserve some good Japanese restaurant ", then the phone select and call to proper restaurant automatically. This become able by the skill to recognize the means and purpose of speaker and decide what to do. This types of device may be improved  more and more in the near future.

G8 summit announcement

Prime Minister Kan has announced that the government are going to increase the rate of natural made energy up to 20% in 2020s. This comment has held in the beginning of the Summit, so this was a important opportunity to say and appeal the Japanese situation and share what we think and feel after the Quake. I think that after this comment what we would like to know is "how will it accomplish in the near future?" So what we needs is gather the skill and power from a lot of business sector in order to do this project.

New TV program(NHK)

The new program will started in June.1;"Drucker Management" in NHK educational channel. I am looking forward to watching because this "Management" teach us a lot of things not only about business but also about life and living. I bought text of this program.

Merger to manage

According to today's news, Mizuho FG announced to merger two banks(BK and corporate BK) in order to integrate their business and management. This integration had started in 2000! Already over 10 years has passed. But former 3 banks style continues even now. We expect that this merger will change their business more powerful and have more value for customers.

Sports festival in elementary school

Yesterday I attended and watched sports festival in school near my house. The climate was changing from fine to rain,but we can enjoy watching program. I was very impressed by the original dance of "after the Quake and reconstruction". 

Reaction to disaster

I am reading the book "THE UNTHINKABLE"; who survive when disaster strike and why. This theme is valuable for us.

Good library can make peoples' lives change

Yesterday I borrowed Prof.Feynman's book through the Internet-reserving-system. This system makes me able to access a lot of books several libraries have. So I can find many valuable book to borrow inside my home. This is very comfortable experience.

What we needs is friendship

Yesterday I met old friends had a dinner with them. We talking about lives after the Quake.

The last day of Golden Week

Today is the last day of Golden week, so I would like to prepare for restart working and also re plan living style adjusting to natural disaster.

Toki Minoyaki Festival

I went to Minoyaki Festival in Toki-City this Goldenweek with my family. This event was held in huge plant and trading center. A lot of visitors are there, so it takes about 30minutes to get into car parking area. One of my former co-worker is having a shop in this festival and visited his shop and talking about his work.

Nonfiction novel of Kamikaze attack

This week is "Golden week" in Japan. So I have time to read books. Yesterday I read "Soukai ni kiyu";nonfiction novel about Kamikaze attack pilot who was a Hitotsubashi-university student. This novel gave a lot of episode when those students were going to be affected by the War when they live in university dormitory. I was very impressed by their school lives. I think that we should know and think more about what exist in those times.

Akihabara story

Yesterday I and my son went to Akihabara(Japanese famous market of electrical equipment) in order to find antenna for portable radio. The shop is located in "radio station"just next to Akihabara station. This area is oldest area inside this market. And we found professional antenna shop "KIKUCHI MUSEN". The shop owner was very kind and supported mending our radio. I was impressed by his comment; "Now I study English through radio." This comment gave good stimulus to my son also. 

Hayabusa Project

Yesterday I attended lecture of Prof. Kawaguchi ; project leader of Hayabusa project(getting sample from "itokawa" asteroid).I was very impressed by the epispode and teamwork of this project and this teach us how to manage and finish through many trouble and obstacles.

New tax for rebuilding from Earthquake

The government are thinking to have new tax for rebuild East Japan.This tax must be used for make safer town and society in the near future.

A month from the Earthquake

One month has passed from the earthquake. Around myself usual life is going to continue, but many refugees are facing hard time and we should do and think about them first.What we can do is to image their lives.

Diverse ability is needed today

In Japan people are restarting and rebuilding the after-the earthquake society. In this process the ability needed is different from the ability which is needed in the former,no trouble period. Today,frontier spirit and think and do by oneself is necessary. On the other hand, people who like "manual " and "referable case" and not willing to think and do by oneself is not needed any longer.

AMENIMO MAKEZU

Japanese famous poet"MIYAZAWA KENJI" was born just 2month after the Meiji Sanriku Earthquake. His famous poem"Amenimo-Makezu"said that people should live without defeated by heavy weather,heavy circumstances and should help other people. We have to think and image what he was willing to say through this poem.
