Great scenery makes a man of high caliber

Yesterday I went to the house where Mr.SHIBUSAWA-EIICHI,great person of Japanese economy. The place is located in vast level ground and near the horizon we can see various types of mountains,spindle shape,notched and flat type. I think that he watched these scenery and grow up, then this great scenery gave him many impression, images and decision. Great scenery had done a important role to educe a great person, I think.  

HAITI's Baby

CNN-back story program, I watched many baby and children who are hospitalised in temporary hospital, just tent and bed in itside HAITI stricken area. They are apart from their family and waiting for medical treatment. I think that we should plan and do to save those children for their future. For example, we can do small charity event among family to know HAITI conditions and collect contributions.

Free business is not freeway

The boom of business in terms of  Free or cheap and discount business has come. People are seeking not expensive or free, if possible , commodity and service. Accordind to today's newspaper, the share of low price home electronics is going up. This is because the deflationary situation.But I think even if this trend, people who do business are able to invent the way for customers to enjoy wealthy shopping.

Educational spend decrease

The Ministry of Education announced that the spend for education in Japanese family dropped suddenly this year.What dose it mean? I think this is seriously effect our future because educational spend is something like a investment, not just expense.Investment is valuable for good life in the near future and if people save this investment young people feel but image in their future and turn out to be addict for just saving money. It is very sad phenomenon,I think. We should do something to get people to change those sad thinkings.

Change City life

According to today's newspaper,YURAKU-CHO SEIBU department store is going to close. This store is very famous and it is one symbol of GINZA,and GINZA is symbol of Japanese upper class shopping area. This news teach us that Japanese life style is now changing.This change is reflected by what Japanese are thinking as future image. I wonder what Japanese have proper image of pleasant city lives.  

Valuable merger

According to today's newspaper,KDDI are going to buy 37.8% share of JCOM's stock. I expect this merger will turn out to be a good M&A case in 2010 because this case have good synergistic effect(data high speed communication and contents). I would like to watch how this case is going on from now.

Mikan harvest

Yesterday I and my family help the neighbor's harvesting Mikan(Japanese orange). It was warm and good climate.We felt very relaxed and had a good Sunday event.We also watch several kinds of plants and flowers. The plants and flowers tell us Spring are going to come soon.

Obama's new restriction rule

President Obama aanounced the new rule of Banks and finance companies. After the Rehman's shock United States government support those financial company to avoid the financial crisis.The support plan was effective but produced some by-product,excessive salary of those companies and something like money game and so on. So this new rule are going to rebalance those matter. I think that all we need is thinking what is the real purpose of managing company. That is not profit itself. Profit is just condition, not the purpose of company, I think.

Game and toy show

I went to 'Game and toy show' at Makuhari-Messe with my son. There are many children and family in this event. Children ,waiting for entering this event, are cheerful and highly motivated. I think that their mind is very valuable to do something. We should use and respect this mind, I think.

The governmental debt

Accoeding to newspaper, Japan's governmental debt(Debt ratio per GDP) is turned out to be worst in developed nations. I think this means that too little GDP or too much national debt. And what we should do is watch the efficiency and eeffectiveness of policy. And also we should think how to activate resource(money, social assets,manpower and idea).  

Double effect policy

I would like to propose the government to seek double effect by using the childrens's allowance. For example, this allowance is not money but JAL ticket for travering with their family.The effect is to support childrens life and also save JAL reform.The effect will be doubled then.

What is the purpose of JAL support?

The legal reconstruction process has started yesterday. The government and many banks will support this plan. I think that we should seek and know the concrete aim of this revive plan. Its not just revive JAL business itself. What is the purpose we can support with our tax money.

Governmental economy?

According to today's paper,the government is going to lift up the limit of postal savings(YUBIN-CHOKIN).What is the purpose? I do not understand this change.The aim might be to expand the governmental company. This trend will weaken the private business.

Skiing weekend

I went to ski at YUZAWA(NIIGATA) with my family. It was cloudy and snowy day. The condision was very good for enjoy skiing. Many skiers were there and wearing colorful jacket and boots,and enjoying not only just skiing,but also watching great scenery. There are hot spring and open-air bath. The snow was accumulated beside the bath. This tour made me very relaxed.

Indonesian enjineer

Several days ago, I met an enjineer(indonesian) and discussed the educational matter and business circumstance in Japan. He immigrated for studying at Japanese University and found a work as enjineer in Japanese company. He can get a scholarship got a proper education to be an enjineer.He had a happy chance and had a high motivation and communication ability,I think. 

HAITI EARTHQUAKE

I watched the HAITI EARTHQUAKE effect on CNN NEWS. Many buildings and houses are broken and the real damage is not known until now. I worry about the peoples' lives in HAITI. I experienced the HANSHIN EATHQUAKE, and think that Japanese should support them by the government and companies.In the first, TV and mass-communication should  report about this eathquake more,like CNN.

Cold weather

Yesterday -Today is very cold. Yesterday is sleety weather in Tokyo. Cold weather might produce new demand of commodity and services,an overcoat, a body warmer and Ski-goods? This is a true all right,but it depend on the consumers' imagination of how to get their comfortable-winter-life. This imagination is very important for us and have to be raised more, I think.

The Bank rankings

There is the cunstomer satisfying rankings of Bank on NIKKEI KINYU SHINBUN. I think this is useful and effective project for Banks to change themselves better and better. If possible, we will use several Banks parallel for comparison. And if possible,I would like to offer them to teach us how to spend money for better and beautiful life,not only how to save money.

Ski shop

Yesterday I went to ski shop. There are not so many people in the shop. This is ski season right now. But ski players may decrease. There are many skiing ground in Japan. Lets play skiing more. 

Time is money

According to Today's newspaper, JAL reconstruction plan is adjusting this weeekend. And the legal process will be started  on Jan. 19. This date is 9days after Today. It takes too times to adjust. I worry about this time schedule. Time is money. The earlier,the better, I think. Because this industry is very important for our lives. Especially for students preparing for university exam on Jan. or Feb at a remote place.

Lack of teacher(elementary school)

There are serious needs of elementary school teacher. This phase is caused by disproportion of veterans and young teacher. I think that this problem should be soluved immediately by the government.This solution is probably supported by educational nongovernment corporation. Teacher-scouting from general worker might be needed, I think. 

Childrens allowance

Japanese government are going to propose the Childrens allowance policy.!3,000yen per month will be paid per child, under 15year old child. If we receive this allowance, what will we spend for? To buy some educational books or begin to study at cram school or spend to some lottery'TAKARAKUJI',etc. That is the serious effect to those childrens,I think.

Increase capital

Several big bank in Japan are going to increase capital to improve their capital quality adjusting to BIS rule.This means that those Bank's control is changing guradually by the shareholder' changing. I expect those trend improve the business model of Bank. Banks is expected more inportant rule in Japanese economy nowadays.

New years strategy?

New years greeting meeting of the management goup members(KEIDANREN, DOYUKAI,SGOUKOUKAIGISHO ) were held yesterday. Many top managers said that growth strategy is seriously needed for company and government. This means that there are lack of seeking growth in Japan, I think. Whare is the gateway of growth? That is probably inside our mind. 

New company law?

According to today's newspaper, the Ministry of law are going to propose a law of public-issue corporation.The purpose of this law is keeping trasnsparency of management. This purpose is right but we should watch the real necessity. I worry that this type of law get too strict to decrease the public-issue company.

How is the economical trend going on?

New years job has started. Many Japanese company's settle accounts in March. So this quater is 4th,last quater of the year. So this 3month is important to have a good finishing.We have to watch the those economical trend carefully. Let's start this years job with thanks.

HUKUBUKURO is changing

I  went to shopping center yesterday and watched many kinds of "HUKUBUKURO".That is Japanese traditional style of sale,several goods and wears for sale are in one cloudy package. Japanese "HUKU" means luck. "HUKURO"means bag.So "HUKUBUKURO"means a lucky bag. I think this luck is for consumer and retailer both if possible.But nowadays the economy is not good, so customers are not so active to buy those HUKUBUKURO easily. It needs something new device to sell those goods.I think that some Free strategy is effective for that.     

KAKIZOME Japanese Custom

Today is the day 'KAKIZOME' practicing calligraphy at the biginning of the year. I  try to do it with my family. Practicing something with family is rare but very valuable because we know each other's level or interests at that time and have fun. That event educe ourselves to this new year's doing smoothly.

New Year's morning

I wish you a  Happy New Year !  I try to continue this Blog this year and would like to brush up my English communication ability. Today ,the first day of this year, I am going to make the plan of this year.
