Asian Cup Soccer has ended with Japan's victory. This result show us that globalizing players make them strong and keep up with other countries. We should apply this model to other subjects; business, life and education.

What is behind the Productivity index

There is a interesting comment in NYtimes Prof. Paul Krugman(won the Novel Prize for Economics 2008)said that the index of productivity of USA is better than France. But behind this index there is a difference of life style between the two. French people are usually enjoy long vacation and leisure. So people should know this life-style difference. But on the other hand Japan's index is worse than France.What makes worse? Japanese productivity is not good without long vacation and leisure. Why??

Kirishima volcano eruption

Mount Kirishima ,located in Miyazaki Pref,erupted and volcanic ash are falling down wide area. We should watch this influence carefully.

Obama's speech

President Obama had a State of the Union Speech. President Obama said that the number of the science and mathematics teachers should be increased by 100,000 in order to develop those skills of students. This policy's goal is to make jobs in USA in the future. This speech was impressive and we should know this change.

Meeting with an old friend

Yesterday I met my old friend when I was a university students. We belonged to same cycling circle and enjoyed many cycling trip. So after over 20 years,our conversation was enjoyable and energetic. Such old friendship get us know how we spend time in these 20 years and give us energy to live with more and more positive thinking.   

Ancient Orient Museum

I visited the Ancient Orient Museum last Saturday. The exhibition was very impressive for me. Ancient glass was colorful and beautiful. Old stamps were similar to those in Japanese. But circular cylinder type stamps were unfamiliar for me. I can learn a lot of those period.

To work must be enjoyable

Nowadays business situation is not easy in Japan. A lot of workers and business person worrying about the future and cannot feel happy when they are working. But to work is to be needed by company or other people(customers etc), so to work must be enjoyable.

Opportunity to learn is not equal in Japan

In Japan there comes fast change in economy and growth. So the needs to education become very high in these days. But on the other hand the opportunity to learn is not equal but rather more partial in Japan. This is very serious problem. The reason of this is; the reason is the lack of governmental support and home economic supply. So we should think and do in order to make some place to learn for free and freely. 

Daigaku Center exam finished

Yesterday in Japan the biggest examination for University finished. Today is the next day. Let's start studying without worrying about what the point will be. Because we should study under any situation.

The next top of NHK decided

NHK(Japanese public Broadcasting Corporation) decided the next president yesterday.Newspaper says that the next top should continue reforming NHK organization. Also NHK is expected to inform Japanese and other foreign people who are interested in Japan and Japanese about what Japanese country is and what happens in Japan. This is very important for Japan because Japanese live through keeping company with foreign people.

The Cabinet reform

The present Cabinet(Prime minister Kan) was reformed yesterday.This Cabinet is expected to reform not only the Cabinet but also the economic and financial reform-strategy. This Cabinets ability is going to be tested next ordinary session of the Diet.

According to NIKKEI,bankruptcy in Japan decrease this two year. This means that Japanese economy is going to stable nowadays.

Tiger mask donation

After the last Christmas, this new donation trend(Tiger mask style) is getting popular in Japan. This donation is that present for child(orphan etc) is delivered from "Tiger mask"(Japanese famous hero who was a orphan and after succeeded as a wrestler, he donate many orphans). This trend shows Japaneses' some feeling to Today's Japanese Society.

Japan Post's decision

Japan Post (NIHON-YUBIN) decided to stop employment of freshman in 2012. This is one of the restructuring process. But the reason of this decision is not understandable. The total cost of employment is going to increase because the average age of employees must increase as this decision.

"Rights issue" will help equity finance

According to today's NEWS, the government (Financial Services Agency) is going to simplify the process of the rights issue; to give share warrant to all shareholders in order to avoid devalue the share price those seasoned shareholders.This will help equity finance and be effective to Japanese economy.

Enjoy Yose in "Museum"

Yesterday I went to the Edo-Tokyo Museum in Ryogoku, Tokyo. There were many display and exhibition about old Tokyo(Edo). Buildings and house and streets, I felt as slip into those time. I attend the Japanese traditional storyteller(Yose) inside the Museum. There were many audience there and enjoyed. I think that those kind of event is interesting and meaningful because it is convenient and comfortable inside the Museum and also the diorama and display give us the feelings of being at a live performance.

Ranking of Japanese Bank

Customer satisfaction ranking of Japanese Bank is announced in today's NIKKEI. This result is interesting because many new types of bank(net bank or regional bank) is listed. This means that innovative movement has already started in Bank business.We,as customer, should know and utilize those new types of bank and accelerate this change.

Household balance sheet

According to today's NIKKEI, Household balance sheet of Japanese is decreasing nowadays. Savings and debt are both decreasing especially young people (under 30years old). This means that Japanese economy's growth will be restricted in the near future. What we need is to think and do to it quickly. I think that education and training of household economy and career design is effective.

Skiing in Yuzawa

I and my family enjoyed skiing in Yuzawa this beginning of the new year. Climate was good and snow condition is also good. I was also impressed by the facilities around the slope(lift,rope way etc). We Japanese are lucky because we can try and enjoy such a beautiful and enjoyable sports near hometown. I expect especially young people to enjoy this sports more.

Speed has important role in our lives

In 2011 what we needs most is "speed", I think. In Japan it is said that everything is drifting and the government cannot decide policy what we needs most. But on the other hand, we already know what to decide and what we should be ready for in order to rebuild our economy and society. The point is not the opposition about what to do but the opposition when we should do it ; right now or later.

New Year's Day is

Happy New Year! I visited a shrine near my house "HATSU-MOUDE".There is a famous proverb "New Year's Day is the key of the year." We should think and do in this valuable day.
