PC parts shows market share

I bought PC parts to assemble Desk-top PC with my son. Those parts are made in Taiwan,Korea and Malaysia. I cannot find made in Japan parts. This means how the makers share is changing these days.

Digital tools

Yesterday I went to Osaka. And I could make documents in train,using digital tool"POMERA". This is not a PC rather like small word-processor. This can get me more convenient in order to make digital document.

How to prepare for the next disaster

Two months has passed after the 3.11 earthquake. What we should do is to revive and start to think about how to prepare for the next disaster.Next quake,volcanic eruption or other national disaster may happen in the future. If we can prepare for that, then we can live with safe and relaxed.

Microsoft Way

According to today's NIKKEI interview of Mr. Steve Ballmer(CEO of  Microsoft), next type smart-phone image is that people say "I would like to reserve some good Japanese restaurant ", then the phone select and call to proper restaurant automatically. This become able by the skill to recognize the means and purpose of speaker and decide what to do. This types of device may be improved  more and more in the near future.

G8 summit announcement

Prime Minister Kan has announced that the government are going to increase the rate of natural made energy up to 20% in 2020s. This comment has held in the beginning of the Summit, so this was a important opportunity to say and appeal the Japanese situation and share what we think and feel after the Quake. I think that after this comment what we would like to know is "how will it accomplish in the near future?" So what we needs is gather the skill and power from a lot of business sector in order to do this project.

New TV program(NHK)

The new program will started in June.1;"Drucker Management" in NHK educational channel. I am looking forward to watching because this "Management" teach us a lot of things not only about business but also about life and living. I bought text of this program.

Merger to manage

According to today's news, Mizuho FG announced to merger two banks(BK and corporate BK) in order to integrate their business and management. This integration had started in 2000! Already over 10 years has passed. But former 3 banks style continues even now. We expect that this merger will change their business more powerful and have more value for customers.

Sports festival in elementary school

Yesterday I attended and watched sports festival in school near my house. The climate was changing from fine to rain,but we can enjoy watching program. I was very impressed by the original dance of "after the Quake and reconstruction".

I am reading the book "THE UNTHINKABLE"; who survive when disaster strike and why. This theme is valuable for us.

Good library can make peoples' lives change

Yesterday I borrowed Prof.Feynman's book through the Internet-reserving-system. This system makes me able to access a lot of books several libraries have. So I can find many valuable book to borrow inside my home. This is very comfortable experience.

What we needs is friendship

Yesterday I met old friends had a dinner with them. We talking about lives after the Quake.

The last day of Golden Week

Today is the last day of Golden week, so I would like to prepare for restart working and also re plan living style adjusting to natural disaster.

Toki Minoyaki Festival

I went to Minoyaki Festival in Toki-City this Goldenweek with my family. This event was held in huge plant and trading center. A lot of visitors are there, so it takes about 30minutes to get into car parking area. One of my former co-worker is having a shop in this festival and visited his shop and talking about his work.

Nonfiction novel of Kamikaze attack

This week is "Golden week" in Japan. So I have time to read books. Yesterday I read "Soukai ni kiyu";nonfiction novel about Kamikaze attack pilot who was a Hitotsubashi-university student. This novel gave a lot of episode when those students were going to be affected by the War when they live in university dormitory. I was very impressed by their school lives. I think that we should know and think more about what exist in those times.

Akihabara story

Yesterday I and my son went to Akihabara(Japanese famous market of electrical equipment) in order to find antenna for portable radio. The shop is located in "radio station"just next to Akihabara station. This area is oldest area inside this market. And we found professional antenna shop "KIKUCHI MUSEN". The shop owner was very kind and supported mending our radio. I was impressed by his comment; "Now I study English through radio." This comment gave good stimulus to my son also. 

Hayabusa Project

Yesterday I attended lecture of Prof. Kawaguchi ; project leader of Hayabusa project(getting sample from "itokawa" asteroid).I was very impressed by the epispode and teamwork of this project and this teach us how to manage and finish through many trouble and obstacles.

New tax for rebuilding from Earthquake

The government are thinking to have new tax for rebuild East Japan.This tax must be used for make safer town and society in the near future.

A month from the Earthquake

One month has passed from the earthquake. Around myself usual life is going to continue, but many refugees are facing hard time and we should do and think about them first.What we can do is to image their lives.

Diverse ability is needed today

In Japan people are restarting and rebuilding the after-the earthquake society. In this process the ability needed is different from the ability which is needed in the former,no trouble period. Today,frontier spirit and think and do by oneself is necessary. On the other hand, people who like "manual " and "referable case" and not willing to think and do by oneself is not needed any longer.

AMENIMO MAKEZU

Japanese famous poet"MIYAZAWA KENJI" was born just 2month after the Meiji Sanriku Earthquake. His famous poem"Amenimo-Makezu"said that people should live without defeated by heavy weather,heavy circumstances and should help other people. We have to think and image what he was willing to say through this poem.

To rebuild lives in Japan

Three weeks has passed after the "HIGASHINIHON EARTHQUKE". Usual lives are not like before. Some people are going to restart to think and do what they should change their mind in order to adjust to this situation but on the other hand some are just wondering and scaring. We should gather the idea and strong will and share them with other people through proper communication.

New fiscal year has started

Yesterday new fiscal year has started in Japan. This year we should think and manage how to rebuild Japanese life and economy. This challenge may take long-time but what we must have is the "never-give-up mind" and "cool head".

Earthquake change our lives

East side of Japan has been changed by the Tohoku-kanto earthquake one week ago. Lifeline has seriously damaged and the lack of commodity (food,gasoline etc) become serious. We have to think and do to manage this crisis and restart usual lives.

The merge of TSE and OSE

According to NIKKEI, TSE(Tokyo Stock Exchange) and OSE(Osaka Stock Exchange) are going to discuss in order to merge in the near future. This news is good for investors and also for Japanese people because this merge may lead developing the exchange system of stock market.

Season is changing to Spring. It is getting warmer gradually and many pollen are falling. The allergy to pollen is also increasing now. I and my family are affected by this allergy.

Fair Trade Commission reform plan

Yesterday Fair  Trade Commission of Japan announced reform plan about pre-consultation. The FTC are going to abolished this pre-consultation system because this is not formal process and sometimes prolong the business decision(M&A,etc.). Public comment is expected to this new plan. This kind of process also make a better plan, I think.

One student, preparing for an examination of university, was arrested yesterday for cheating through internet. What we should know and think from this case is "the value of rule".Students can challenge the exam. for university equally because there are strict rule in it. And this value is settled for "every student".

2011 budget has passed

2011 budget has passed in the House of Representatives last night and sent to the the House of Councilors. The budget is easier to pass in Japanese Constitution,but those related law is not easy to pass in present political situation. The Diet should think and do in order to make this global society better in the future.

Battery reuse business

Electric car is now getting popular in many countries and in the near future battery inside those cars will expire and be removed to change. At that time many battery will be disused! But those battery remain be able to use for home electric;lighting etc. This reuse business must be a new types of business in Japan.

Swimming Race Game watching

I and my family went to swimming game event yesterday. My sons attended the game and took part in the game and match. This is the first time to see and attend, this event was very impressive for us. Those experience;challenging and have match with other swimming students, will become valuable for those attendants in their future study and work.

According to NIKKEI, oil price is rising and accelerated consistently after the revolution in Middle East. This may affect our home economy. We should think and know how we can manage economy in front of this difficult situation.

Huge earthquake in New Zealand

New Zealand earthquake news is announced yesterday. We Japanese worry about the lives in those area. We should all what we can do for the people in this area. Many people need rescue and help.I remembered the experience in Kobe earthquake.

Giant Panda has come

Last night, tho Giant Panda come from China to Ueno Zoo in Tokyo. They are expected to be the symbol of peaceful relationship between China and Japan. I would like to watch those Panda with my family soon and rethink about the history of those two countries.

Reform of the M&A process

According to NIKKEI,the government are going to reform the inspection process of M&A by the Fair Trade Commission. Especially the pre-consultation process are going to be abolished in order to make the process clear and easy to be understood by the people. This reform is expected to accelerate the reform of Japanese companies.

New type loan

According to NIKKEI, "Komeri";Home-center company has unique credit card service. That service"Agri- card" provide unique payment system; user can pay their debt once a year"the harvest month" for agricultural workers.This may be a new types of loan that is needed seriously in Japan.

Snowy day

From last night snow starts falling and ground has turned white near my house. This may make commuter train delay, so I should go out earlier and enjoy walking on the white carpet.

We can see and know about changing world government,economy and lives through media;especially Internet based media(twitter and facebook). This new and powerful media must change our thinking and doing through its self-growing diffuseness. So this media does not need many cost to tell and inform. 

Kindle3 arrived !

The kindle which I bought arrived yesterday. I opened the package and now charging battery. This may change reading lives and getting information from e-books, magazines and newspapers. I was first impressed by the e-paper. This is really innovation.

Changing climate

Yesterday the weather was very changing. Cloudy in the morning, Snowing before the noon and Sunny in the afternoon! We should care of ourselves facing such a climate.

Using English as a tool can develop English skills

To develop English skill, what we should do first is using English as a tool for life. In the Internet we can do so right now. I ordered kindle3 via Internet and use English only. This mini trade makes me feel that its important and needed to use English more in our lives inside Japan.

Chinese shunsetsu festival

Yesterday I visited China-town in Yokohama. There held a Shunsetsu-Festival(Chinese new year festival) and many people visited and enjoyed active atmosphere. I ate Chinese fried noodle which is one of the most popular menu in China town.That short visit refreshed me .

How to face competition

I read some Economist's book about how to think and face competition and make a real happiness. I was impressed by this book "Kyosou no sahou" in Japanese. In this book we Japanese are not willing to face real competition by many reasons(one is ethics reason). And we are tend to twist the conditions to make better society with many peoples' happiness.  I think that we should know and learn from Sportsmanship( for example soccer's case)

Japanese big steel companies(SHIN-NITTETU and SUMITOMO KINZOKU) has decided to start considering merger in order to compete with other global rivals. This decision gets their business stronger and also change management system adjusting to global level. This is a good news in SETUBUN(seasons change in Japanese). This news may be a sign of season?

Fast-retailing Co.,Ltd has decided to employ 80% freshperson from abroad. The main reason of this is to start new shops in other countries. This globalize also inside the company.This is good stimulus for business and people.

According to news,Japanese research team found natural spawn of eel first in the world. This is a good news for Japanese to get eel for KABAYAKI easily and inexpensively. The life of eel was mystery and not known by people but this find get us know how is the eel's lives also.

Asian Cup Soccer has ended with Japan's victory. This result show us that globalizing players make them strong and keep up with other countries. We should apply this model to other subjects; business, life and education.

What is behind the Productivity index

There is a interesting comment in NYtimes Prof. Paul Krugman(won the Novel Prize for Economics 2008)said that the index of productivity of USA is better than France. But behind this index there is a difference of life style between the two. French people are usually enjoy long vacation and leisure. So people should know this life-style difference. But on the other hand Japan's index is worse than France.What makes worse? Japanese productivity is not good without long vacation and leisure. Why??

Mount Kirishima ,located in Miyazaki Pref,erupted and volcanic ash are falling down wide area. We should watch this influence carefully.

Obama's speech

President Obama had a State of the Union Speech. President Obama said that the number of the science and mathematics teachers should be increased by 100,000 in order to develop those skills of students. This policy's goal is to make jobs in USA in the future. This speech was impressive and we should know this change.

Meeting with an old friend

Yesterday I met my old friend when I was a university students. We belonged to same cycling circle and enjoyed many cycling trip. So after over 20 years,our conversation was enjoyable and energetic. Such old friendship get us know how we spend time in these 20 years and give us energy to live with more and more positive thinking.   

Ancient Orient Museum

I visited the Ancient Orient Museum last Saturday. The exhibition was very impressive for me. Ancient glass was colorful and beautiful. Old stamps were similar to those in Japanese. But circular cylinder type stamps were unfamiliar for me. I can learn a lot of those period.

To work must be enjoyable

Nowadays business situation is not easy in Japan. A lot of workers and business person worrying about the future and cannot feel happy when they are working. But to work is to be needed by company or other people(customers etc), so to work must be enjoyable.

Opportunity to learn is not equal in Japan

In Japan there comes fast change in economy and growth. So the needs to education become very high in these days. But on the other hand the opportunity to learn is not equal but rather more partial in Japan. This is very serious problem. The reason of this is; the reason is the lack of governmental support and home economic supply. So we should think and do in order to make some place to learn for free and freely. 

Daigaku Center exam finished

Yesterday in Japan the biggest examination for University finished. Today is the next day. Let's start studying without worrying about what the point will be. Because we should study under any situation.

NHK(Japanese public Broadcasting Corporation) decided the next president yesterday.Newspaper says that the next top should continue reforming NHK organization. Also NHK is expected to inform Japanese and other foreign people who are interested in Japan and Japanese about what Japanese country is and what happens in Japan. This is very important for Japan because Japanese live through keeping company with foreign people.

The Cabinet reform

The present Cabinet(Prime minister Kan) was reformed yesterday.This Cabinet is expected to reform not only the Cabinet but also the economic and financial reform-strategy. This Cabinets ability is going to be tested next ordinary session of the Diet.

According to NIKKEI,bankruptcy in Japan decrease this two year. This means that Japanese economy is going to stable nowadays.

Tiger mask donation

After the last Christmas, this new donation trend(Tiger mask style) is getting popular in Japan. This donation is that present for child(orphan etc) is delivered from "Tiger mask"(Japanese famous hero who was a orphan and after succeeded as a wrestler, he donate many orphans). This trend shows Japaneses' some feeling to Today's Japanese Society.

Japan Post's decision

Japan Post (NIHON-YUBIN) decided to stop employment of freshman in 2012. This is one of the restructuring process. But the reason of this decision is not understandable. The total cost of employment is going to increase because the average age of employees must increase as this decision.

According to today's NEWS, the government (Financial Services Agency) is going to simplify the process of the rights issue; to give share warrant to all shareholders in order to avoid devalue the share price those seasoned shareholders.This will help equity finance and be effective to Japanese economy.

Enjoy Yose in "Museum"

Yesterday I went to the Edo-Tokyo Museum in Ryogoku, Tokyo. There were many display and exhibition about old Tokyo(Edo). Buildings and house and streets, I felt as slip into those time. I attend the Japanese traditional storyteller(Yose) inside the Museum. There were many audience there and enjoyed. I think that those kind of event is interesting and meaningful because it is convenient and comfortable inside the Museum and also the diorama and display give us the feelings of being at a live performance.

Ranking of Japanese Bank

Customer satisfaction ranking of Japanese Bank is announced in today's NIKKEI. This result is interesting because many new types of bank(net bank or regional bank) is listed. This means that innovative movement has already started in Bank business.We,as customer, should know and utilize those new types of bank and accelerate this change.

Household balance sheet

According to today's NIKKEI, Household balance sheet of Japanese is decreasing nowadays. Savings and debt are both decreasing especially young people (under 30years old). This means that Japanese economy's growth will be restricted in the near future. What we need is to think and do to it quickly. I think that education and training of household economy and career design is effective.

Skiing in Yuzawa

I and my family enjoyed skiing in Yuzawa this beginning of the new year. Climate was good and snow condition is also good. I was also impressed by the facilities around the slope(lift,rope way etc). We Japanese are lucky because we can try and enjoy such a beautiful and enjoyable sports near hometown. I expect especially young people to enjoy this sports more.

Speed has important role in our lives

In 2011 what we needs most is "speed", I think. In Japan it is said that everything is drifting and the government cannot decide policy what we needs most. But on the other hand, we already know what to decide and what we should be ready for in order to rebuild our economy and society. The point is not the opposition about what to do but the opposition when we should do it ; right now or later.

New Year's Day is

Happy New Year! I visited a shrine near my house "HATSU-MOUDE".There is a famous proverb "New Year's Day is the key of the year." We should think and do in this valuable day.
